Local Garages.

Kate and I took the Roadster up to my friend and his dad's garage at Ythanbank to get one or two jobs done the other day.

They included getting the Tappet clearances set correctly, setting the carbs up and giving her a general going over (That's the car not Kate by the way emoticon )

Several other minor problems were found and rectified at no or minimal additional cost and the Roadster is now running very well indeed.

Here are the garages contact details:

Michaelmuir Garage Ythanbank, Ellon, Aberdeenshire. 01358 761297

If you ring and get either Stuart or his Dad Andy you will get top service from a family run business and at a fantastic price, all the work we had done cost just over £100. emoticon

I have used them before myself and I know someone with a Panther who swears by them also. I agree that they offer a very good service for reasonable cost and understand the workings of an classic car. Would they be interested in offering a special deal to Club members cars I wonder?

I am looking for someone to fit my 4 hubs, and if waxoiling is on offer with a compressor to spray some into the sils (needs mixing with thinners) then I am in as well.

Looks like club discount would be a good way of drumming up business for them!

Could even offer them a link from the club site as, after all, our site is reasonably well visited and perhaps a recommendation from us would help them. At this rate we will be asking them to pay us!
Cheers
