If it has a seal already then no need for hylomar, The gaskets for the B are thin paper ones so I give it a lick of hylomar. Dr B, offer of garage still open for the weekend. Also, I have one of these rechargable LED strip light things if you need extra light. Lasts for about 7 hours and is mega bright.

Thanks again Chris. To be honest, there is little enough room in the rear of the F to even put a light. I have a small pocket LED torch whcih should be enough.

Will let you know if I need garage at weekend.

Anyone done a HG replacement in the rain before emoticon

Looks like nice-ish weather over weekend, so I should be able to do everythign on the road outside my house.

Enjoy the head gasket repair, I am helping do some work at the stonehaven model car race track on Saturday then probably gardening on sunday!

Best of luck Dr, sure you wont need luck though.

Just go park the car at asda at Garth Dee - the lower floor obviously and then do the head gasket repair! I am sure Asda wont mind you taking up 2 spaces on the busiest shopping day of the week!
